Edward "Pete" Ray Nanney

Edward “Pete” Ray Nanney, 50, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at FirstHealth Hospice House in West End.

The family will be holding a private service.

Born June 14, 1972, in Catawba County, he is the son of Jimmy Ray Nanney of Troy and the late Revona Talbert Nanney. He worked in maintenance for Midway Mill Works. Pete loved to sing, play his guitar, and fishing. He was a 1990 graduate of West Montgomery High School.

Along with his father, he is survived by his son, Zachary Lee Sheffield of Randleman; daughter, Bonnie Mae Nanney of High Falls; significant other, Kimberly Valk of High Falls; and sister, Kathy Biggers of Troy.
