Mrs. Edna Shepard Johnson, 71, of 108-B Willow Woods Apartments died Friday, July 28, at her home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Piney Plains Free Will Baptist Church officiated by the Revs. Bo Grooms, J. B. Loving, and Buck Smith. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by three sons, Jerry Wayne Johnson and Kenneth Harold Johnson of Laurel Hill, and Gary Mitchell Johnson of Laurinburg; a brother, Eli (Gabe) Shepard, Jr. of Charlotte; two sisters, Alma Walters of Mooresville and Dora Berry of Laurel Hill; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren,and 1 great great grandchild.
Born August 2, 1928 in Cumberland County, she was a daughter of Eli and Elizabeth Sanders Shepart. She was a homemaker and widow of the late Hughie Clyde Johnson.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Monday at the McDougald Funeral Home in Laurel Hill.
