Mrs. Edith McLaurin McRimmon, 95, of Scotia Village and formerly of Rowland died Monday, April 2, at her residence.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Carolina Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Clio, SC, officiated by Dr. Rodger Decker.

She is survived by her daughter, Jean Young of Columbia SC; her son, Thomas R. McRimmon of Rowland; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Born October 10, 1913 in Dillon County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Duncan and Lillie Parrish McLaurin. Mrs. McRimmon was a Flora MacDonald College graduate. She was a retired elementary school teacher with a career that began in 1933. She taught at Central School in Laurinburg from 1961 until her retirement in 1976. Mrs. McRimmon was the organist at Midway Presbyterian Church.

Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. until prior to the graveside service at the church community center.
