Mrs. Edith Daniels Long, 91, died Monday, December 2, at the Edwin Morgan Center.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the East Laurinburg Baptist Church officiated by the Revs. Richard Tyson, Jerry Oxendine, and J. R. Davis. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by a son, Clyde "J. R." Davis, Jr. of Laurel Hill; 3 grandchildren, Kevin Davis, Tina Gognon, and Heather Price; a great grandson, Nicholas Davis. She was predeceased by her husband, Goldie Long and two foster sons, J. C. Long and Robert Long.
Mrs. Long was a retired employee of Waverly Mills and a former Sunday school teacher at East Laurinburg Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
