Mr. Earl Marks Leviner, 83, of the Gibson Road died Monday, January 21, 2008.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Gibson Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Rick Hodges. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Josephine Locklear Leviner; two sons, R. J. Leviner and wife, Becky of Belton, SC and Darnell Leviner of Gibson; two daughters, Patricia Locklear and husband, Thomas of Laurinburg and Ann Holly and husband, Rhett of Douglasville, GA; a brother, Frank Leviner and wife, Sandra of Virginia; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Earl Leviner, Jr., sisters, Evelyn and Inez Leviner, and brothers, Alexander and W. F. Leviner.
Born April 11, 1924 in Scotland County, he was a a son of the late John C. and Julia Beulah Britt Leviner. Earl was a farmer, produce farmer, and a retired employee of Ingraham Clock Co. He especially loved gardening and was an active member of the Gibson Baptist Church for over 50 years and was an usher and member of the Men’s Sunday School class.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
