Mr. Earl Boyd Byrd, 48, of Main Street, died Thursday, November 9, 2006 at his residence, after a most courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Johns United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Harold Salmon. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
Born January 22, 1958 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late Walter Boyd and Ester "Bea" Strickland Byrd. Earl was a fan of Nascar and also a member of the Southern Heritage Motorcycle Club. He was the owner and operator of Byrda
