Dwight David Williams, 54, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Tony Sedberry. Burial will follow at Holly Mount Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Gilead. The family will receive friends Friday, June 23, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service.
Born on March 28, 1969, in Montgomery County, he was a son of the late Ralph Eugene and Carol Parks Williams. Dwight was employed with Montgomery Contractors as a carpenter, where he dedicated countless hours to his craft. His skill and expertise in carpentry were evident in the beautiful structures he helped create throughout his career. Dwight lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. Dwight's love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for fishing. He spent many weekends at the lake, casting his line and enjoying the serenity of nature. Motor Cross Racing was another one of Dwight's interests, and he spent many exhilarating weekends at the track. Dwight's love for his family, friends, and his dog, Suzie, were undeniable, and he was always there to lend a helping hand or offer a warm embrace.
Dwight is survived by his wife of 18 years, Michelle Allen Williams of the home; sons, Mason Williams of Denton, Tyler Williams of Robbins, and Cody Osborne of Ramseur; and brother, Dale Williams of Mt. Gilead. Dwight's family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
