Dorothy Elizabeth Tart, 84, died Monday, June 18, at Morrison Manor.
A graveside service will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Park in Bennettsville.
She is survived by her son, Prentiss Ray tart; her daughters, Deeann Williams, Georgia Leviner, and Joan Williams; her sister, Mollie Kiser; her grandchildren, David Williams, Jr. (Emily), Rhondi Williams, April Leviner, Tina Leviner, Phillip Leviner, Jr. (Heather), Eugene Howse, Shari Taylor (William); her great grandchildren, Arkaisha Ford, Gage Sowell, Kristian Leviner, Aaron Leviner, Jonathan Leviner, Elijah Leviner, Amethyst Leviner, Kayden Leviner, William Taylor, Jr., Jacob Taylor. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Prentiss Thrower, William Thrower; her sisters, Doris Walters, Marie Herdon.
Born August 22, 1927 in Marlboro County, she was a daughter of the late George and Sadie Moore Thrower and widow of the late Raymond E. Tart. She served 27 years as a CNA at Dundee Manor and enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and keeping her children straight.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium, Laurinburg.
