Mrs. Dorothy Carroll "Dot" McCormick, 78, of 709 S. Pine Street died Monday, January 5, at her home.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Laurinburg Presbyterian Church officiated by the Revs. Jim Holderness and Elizabeth Forester.
She is survived by her husband, D. J. McCormick; two sons, Kenny McCormick and wife, Kathy of Laurinburg and Duncan J. "Mackey" McCormick, III of the home; a daughter, Susan Azzarello and husband, Lenny of Clemson, SC; a brother, Rochell Carroll and wife, Lynda of Bennettsville; two sisters, Katie Louise Turner and husband, Bill of Los Angeles, CA and Irene Jones of Independence, MO; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Born November 23, 1925 in Horry County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Joanna Ray Carroll. She was co-owner of Security Lock and Hardware.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
Memorial may be made to the Hospice of Scotland County, PO Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
