Dorothy Marie Dyches

Dorothy Marie Dyches, 41, formerly of Rocky Mount, NC, died on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Morrison Manor.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Marie was born in Rock Hill, SC on March 1, 1981 to Frances Olson Dyches Redding and the late Dr. Heyward Leroy Dyches.  She will be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes that always lit the room up when she walked in.  She loved her children, her grandson, and her younger sister, Jeanne.   She enjoyed cooking and listening to music.  Marie learned how to throw a cast net on the shores of the beach where she enjoyed her passion for fishing.  She never met a stranger.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her loving daughters, Hannah Dyches and Abygail Jones; her precious grandson, Jayden Dyches; her sister Dr. Jeanne Dyches and her husband, Dr. Daniel Miller; and her nieces and nephews, Clare Miller, Aiden Miller, Colton Miller, Annabelle Bissonnette and Heyward Bissonnette.  She is preceded in death by her father, Dr. Heyward L. Dyches.

Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium is assisting the Dyches family.
