Mrs. Doris Ormsby Millan, 85, formerly of Laurinburg died Tuesday, December 18, in Owings, MD.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium chapel. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park..
She is survived by her husband, Mike Millan; two sons, Michael Millan of Ojai, CA and John Millan of Beverly Hills, CA; two daughters, Anne Peele-Dalke of Arlington, VA and Susan Millan of Seattle, WA; two brothers, Dale Ormsby of Rockingham and Ted Ormsby of Conyers, GA; two sisters, Hazel Durant of Laurinburg and Peggy Trollinger of Lexington; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Born March 2, 1922 in Rockingham, she was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Lula Williams Ormsby. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She was an active member of the Springfield (VA) United Methodist Church before moving to Maryland five years ago.
