Doris Mauldin

Doris Livingston Mauldin, 86, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Autumn Care of Biscoe.

A graveside service will be 3:00 pm Monday, August 31, 2020 at Long Hill Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Mark Forrest.   Her body will lie in state Monday from 10-1pm at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service.

Born October 17, 1933 in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of the late William and Cora Ledbetter Livingston.  She was a longtime member of Long Hill Baptist Church. Doris loved her family and was a very devoted mother, grandmother and Christian.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and going to church. She was a 36-year employee of Gilead Manufacturing and later retired at the age of seventy-four from Lancer Furniture.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia McCormick (James) of Ellerbe, and Trudy Kivett (Tim) of Troy; two grandchildren, James “Wahoo” McCormick Jr. and Jessica Stuart (Ritchie); three great-grandchildren, Alexis McCormick, Kody McCormick and Riley Stuart; two brothers, Sherman Livingston and Billy Ray Livingston, both of Troy.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Farrell Mauldin.
