Mrs. Doris Gibson Adams, 83, Formerly of Laurinburg died Monday, November 8, at the NC Special Care Center in Wilson.

A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Hillside Cemetery officiated by the Rev. James F. Thompson.

Born December 2, 1915 in Laurinburg, Jasper T. and Alex Wells Gibson. She was retired from Belk and was a life member of the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn McVicker of Laurinburg; 4 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Alex A. Adams.
