Mr. Donald Moore, 65, of 9621 Old Wire Rd. died Saturday, April 1, at Duke University Medical Center.

Funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Laurel Hill Baptist Church officiated by Don Malpass and Mitchell Roller. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Ellie Livingston Moore; three sons; Don Moore and his wife, Dorinda of Harlingen, TX, Billy Moore and his wife, Kim of Hamlet, Tim Moore and his wife, Karen of Hammond, IN; two daughters, Meg Byrd and her husband, Wayne of Laurel Hill and Elaine Lighthall of Laurel Hill; his mother, Lela Moore of Laurel Hill; a brother, George Moore and his wife, Helen of Hope Mills; a sister, Rosalita Byrd and her husband, Dean of Laurel Hill; eight grandchildren; Lacey, Caitlin, Denee, Ryan, Michael, and Nichole Moore and Ricky and John Ammons.

Born March 28, 1935 in St. Pauls, he was a veteran of the US Air Force and a member of Disabled American Veterans.

Memorials my be made to the American Heart Association, 12441 Richardson Rd., Laurinburg, NC 28352.

The family will be at 17141 Springs Mill Rd and visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Monday at the McDougald Funeral Home in Laurel Hill.
