Mr. Donald Currie, 63, of 16042 Old Wire Road, Laurinburg died Tuesday, Jan. 29, at his home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel with Don Malpass officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy W. Currie of the home; a daughter Donna Tapp of Laurinburg; three brothers, Everett Currie of Waldrof, MD., Arthur Currie and Frank Lee of Laurinburg; three sisters, Louise Blizzard and Dot Livingston of Calabash, NC., and Alice Smith of Wagram, grandchildren, Beth Tapp, Elaine Tapp, Jamie Currie and Kristin Ray all of Laurinburg.
Born August 10, 1938 in Scotland County a son of the late Arthur and Gertrude Ransom Currie. He was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church and a retired employee of LOF Glass Co.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium in Laurinburg.
