Dewey Clark Sr., 62, of 18020 Queen Rd. passed away, Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Duke University Hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held, Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Clark of the home; a son, Dewey Clark Jr. (Charlotte) of Laurinburg; three daughters, LaShonda Clark of Raleigh, Victoria Clark-Cook and Darlene Clark-Locklear (Clayton) of Laurinburg; grandchildren, Madisen Chinn, Natalie Chinn, Nathaniel Chinn, Savannah Clark, Jaylen Clark, Kamryn Clark, Kaydense Clark, Cord Clark, Mark Foster, Bobby Berry, Joshua Coble, Daniel Locklear, Christina Clark, Shyan Clark, Dewey Jay Clark and Valerie Coble; great grandchildren, Alona Dial and Ariel Dial. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Clark and Nancy Cox; brothers, Robert Locklear and Bill Scott; sons, Chuckie Radford and Chad Dimery; great grandson, Daylon Clark; and son-in-law Harold Leon Walters Cook.
He was born on November 29, 1949. He was retired from John Deere in Clio, SC and also Clarks Used Parts of Laurinburg. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed working on cars, racing, being outdoors and going places. He was always working on something and ready to help someone else. He was full of enthusiasm, love and overwhelming concern for others. He never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with open arms.
