Denny Calvin Brown

Denny Calvin Brown, 66, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at his residence.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at First Wesleyan Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Shirley Threadgill.

Born June 11, 1955, in Montgomery County, he was a son of the late Raeford and Epp Poole Brown. Denny could fix anything, never met a stranger, and loved helping people. He was a personal comedian and always had a joke to tell.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Betty Vuncannon Brown of the home; daughter, Jenna Christine Brown and her husband, Joshua Lee Everhart of Winston Salem; brother, Guy Harris Brown (Kathy) of Asheboro; sister, Pamela McQueen of Troy; and grandchildren, Riley Rose Everhart and Ricky Ryan Everhart.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service in Troy from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
