Dennis Walker Lett, 69, died Wednesday, January 30.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Revs. J. B. Loving and Kenneth Blease. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Adams Lett; a son, Dennis Lett, Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Gibson; two daughters, Tammy Lett and Sandy Jordan of Gibson; his mother, Cassie Morton Lett of Laurinburg; two brothers, Richard Lett of Laurinburg and Dewey "Pete" Lett and wife, Faye of Bennettsville; a sister, Linda Lett of Laurinburg; five grandchildren, Heather Lett of Greenville, Erica Labean of Gibson, April, Jesse, and Amanda Lett of Gibson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Lett; two brothers, Stacey Lett and Bob Lett; and a great grandson, Alex Williams.
Born April 13, 1939 in Anson County, he was also a son of the late Early Green Lett. He was the owner and operator of Lett's Wheel and Deal in Laurel Hill. Dennis enjoyed being with people, wholesale buying, and watching old western movies.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
