Mr. Dennis Strickland, Jr., 66, of 1049 Elrod Road died Friday, June 29, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Sunday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Henrietta Carmichael. Committal will follow at Argyll Crematorium.
He is survived by his wife; Elizabeth Jean Strickland; two sons, Michael Strickland of Maxton and Christopher Strickland of Charlotte; five grandchildren; Felicia Krajack, Brandon Lee, Dennis Chase Strickland, Trey Strickland, and Tori Strickland; a great granddaughter, Skylar Nichole Krajack.
He was born August 11, 1934 in Rowland and was a son of the late Dennis and Eva Mae Oxendine Strickland. He was a retired crane operator.
