Debra Ann (Gibson) Morris

Debra Ann Gibson Morris, 66, of Troy passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 at her residence.

The family will be planning a Celebration of Life service at a later date.

Born February 16, 1958, in Richmond County, she was a daughter of the late Melvin Garrett and Elizabeth Tucker Gibson. Debra loved going to church, shopping, getting her hair done, and fishing.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Morton (Cindy) of Star, and Jerry Ray Morton of TX; brother, Darrell Gibson of Ellerbe; sister, Nancy Brinkley of Asheboro; grandchildren, Britany, Austin, Betheny, Katie, Haley, Destiny, Jerry Jr. “Son”, and Ethan; and great-grandchildren, Novah, one almost on the way (Kinsley), Gavin, Jayden, and Jace. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Christy M. Cassell; brother, Junior Gibson; and sister, Mary Haywood.
