Deborah "Debbie" (Biggers) Dennis

Deborah “Debbie” Biggers Dennis, 62, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Asheboro.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 15, 2021 from 6pm-7pm at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please practice social distancing and wear a mask or another form of face covering. Attendance will be monitored.

Born October 17, 1958 in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late David and Martha Ann Chappell Biggers. Deborah worked as a paper route delivery person for the Charlotte Observer. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, cleaning, yard sales and the beach.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Dennis of Star; daughters; Sherry Dennis and Renee Dennis of Troy and Melissa Rodriguez of Star; son, Larry Dennis, Jr. of Star; brothers, Steve (Kathy) Biggers of Troy, David (Teresa) Biggers of Wadesboro; sisters, Rose (Billy) Richardson, Tammy (Curtis) Speakman, and Carolyn “Punkin” Biggers all of Mt. Gilead; god-daughter, Felicia Ridenhour of Albemarle; brother-in-law, Kenny Ridenhour of Richfield; mother-in-law, Polly R. Dennis of Troy; 21 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 5 nieces; and 3 nephews.  She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sabrina F. Brown.
