David Vernon Willard

David Vernon Willard, 68, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 at his residence.

No services are planned.

Born December 19, 1955, in Montgomery County, he was the son of the late Marvin and Gladys Lane Willard. David loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. He loved to watch old westerns on television, fishing, and putting puzzles together with his wife.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Melcher, of the home; sons, Roy Lee McBride, Steven Willard, and Donnie Willard, all of Star; sisters, Mary Alice, Patsy, and Patricia; brothers, Donnie, Charles, and William; grandchildren, Lindon, Dakota, Bryce, Christian, Shadow, Kaitlyn, and Tyler; and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Willard, and his brothers, Robert, Jerry, and Bobby.
