Mr. David Walter Pate, 29, of Indian Trail died Tuesday, December 12.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Jimmy Tennant. Committal will follow at the crematorium.
Born July 22, 1977 in Richmond County, he was a son of James and Cindy Lampley Pate of Elgin, SC. David served in the US Army for 5 years and was employed as a carpenter with Eagle Construction Company.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Bradley Pate of Monroe; a brother, Donald Pate of Lancaster, SC; two sisters, Jamie McCall of Indian Trail and Christy Weyant of Waxhaw.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
