Mr. David Nicholas "Nick" Gibson, 21, of 12861 McColman Road died Thursday, February 7, in an automobile accident.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Old Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church officiated by David Ruth and the Rev. Bobby Dean.
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Grace Gibson of Gibson; two brothers, Michael Gibson and Billy Gibson of Gibson; a sister, Christi Jo Gibson of Gibson; his grandmothers, Mary Frances Monroe of Laurinburg and Dorothy Stanton Gibson of Gibson. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, David M. Monroe, Sr. and Billy M. Gibson.
He was born November 4, 1980 in Laurinburg and was a 1999 graduate of Scotland High School. He was in the US Navy for two years and was presently a full time student at Richmond Community College. He was also a member of Old Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church.
