David James Demus

David James Demus, 75, died Friday, March 17, 2023 at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium located at 305 E Church St. Laurinburg, NC.

Born September 23, 1947, in Genesee County, New York, he was the son of the late Richard Demus and Ruth Greene Demus. David loved his family, hot rod cars, his animals, and the Navy.  He also practiced architecture and was a Ham Radio Operator.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Nancy Welch Demus, of the home; son, Aaron Demus (Alison) of Wesley Chapel; grandsons, Ian Demus, and Benjamin Demus; and sister, Diane Morrow of Batavia, New York.
