David George Brachear

David George Brachear, 69, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born February 4, 1952 in Montgomery County, IL, he was a son of the late Richard Lee and Nathalie Lenhan Brachear. David worked as a truck driver for many years. He was a member of the Star PH Church, where he enjoyed fellowship with his brothers of the church. David looked forward to helping every Wednesday with the food giveaway at his church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved his family dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Brachear of the home; son, Rob Brachear of IL, Nathan Brachear of Rocky Mount, and Tony Brachear of Gulfport, MS; daughters, Elizabeth Brachear of KY and Nan Brachear of Biscoe; brother, Steve Brachear Girard, IL and six grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by a son, David Ryan Brachear and a brother, Kevin Brachear.
