David Eugene Anderlik

David (Dave) Eugene Anderlik of Wagram, NC passed away peacefully on October 5th, 2024.

Dave will be interred alongside his beloved wife at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery during a private ceremony to be held at a later date.

He was born in Cresco, IA on July 30, 1937 to George and Margaret (Shields) Anderlik.

He most enjoyed watching the birds that came to his feeders and had a special fondness for the hummingbirds. He will be remembered for his love of dogs, his generosity for helping others, and his good sense of humor. He always had a story or a joke to share with people.  The family would like to thank his friends and neighbors for their companionship and the thoughtful care they provided.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Sandra (Gates) Anderlik. He was a brother to Claire (Dorothy) and Joseph (Elizabeth), and is survived by his sister, Judy Daly of Tucson, AZ. He leaves behind his two children, Jeffrey Anderlik (Grace) of Tolono, IL and Joelle Sather (Todd) of Hugo, MN. He had three grandchildren who he loved very much, Lauren, Emily and Cole.
