Danny "Danny Boy" Kellis Lassiter

Danny "Danny Boy" Kellis Lassiter, 68, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the Lassiter Family Cemetery in Star, officiated by Rev. Tony Sedberry. The family will receive friends following the service.

Born March 16, 1954, in Montgomery County, he was a son of the late William Dewey and Villie Kellis Lassiter. Danny never met a stranger and loved his grandchildren. He was the life of the party and called it like he seen them. Everyone loved hanging out at the loop with Danny Boy.

He is survived by his son, Johnny Lassiter (Susan) of Troy; brother, Phillip Lassiter of Biscoe; sisters, Judy Smith (Johnny) of Wilmington, Sarah Von Freeman of Troy (Darrell(, and Debra Lynn Lassiter of the home; and grandchildren, Page Lassiter (Kristyn), Savannah Lassiter, and Alyssa Lassiter, all of Troy. He preceded in death by his son, Lonnie Joe Lassiter; and brother, Ronald Dewey Lassiter.
