Daniel Clayton "Danny" or "Mule" Locklear, Sr., 39, died Monday, December 29, 2008.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Locklear; a son, Daniel Clayton "Clay" Locklear, Jr. of the home; two daughters, Amanda Danielle Locklear and Caroline Nicole Locklear of the home; his mother, Mary Sue Smith Locklear of Marston; two brothers, Anthony Wade Locklear of West End and Jonathan Blease Locklear, Sr. of Lumberton; a sister, Lisa Locklear Lesley of Roper.
Born September 22, 1969 in Scotland County, he was also a son of the late Blease Locklear. He was an employee of McCarter Electric, enjoyed being with his children and family, and enjoyed fishing.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
