Mrs. Daisy Tyner Williams passed on to be with the Savior on Sunday, December 24, 2006.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Delma Cribb. Burial will follow in the Caledonia Cemetery.
Granny Daisy was a faithful member of Caledonia United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, William Edgar Williams and grandson, Terry James Williams, Sr. She loved fishing and collected frog figurines and baby dolls, of which she had over 800.
She is survived by her son, Weldon Edward Williams and wife, Mary of Laurinburg; three granddaughters, Phyllis Bristow and husband, Charles, Myrtle Ann Oxendine and husband, Thurman, and Darlene Williams, all of Laurinburg; 10 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
