Daisy Baker Hardee

Daisy Baker Hardee, age 83, passed away on February 29, 2024, at her residence.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30PM Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Hillside Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Wade and Ann Everett.  The service will be livestreamed on Bumgarner Family Funeral Service FaceBook page.

Born on May 31, 1940, in Kershaw County, SC, she was a daughter of the late, Lemuel Frank Baker and Daisy Bertha Jordan Baker. Daisy is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles A. Hardee of the home; her daughter, Charlene Brumbles, and her husband, Andrew, of Florence, SC; and her son, Donald Hardee, and his wife, Dawn, of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Michelle, Zachary, and Tyler; and her great-grandchildren, Silas, Luna, and Atticus.  She is preceded in death by her sisters, Louise Jackson and Carrie Gibson. Before her retirement, Daisy dedicated many years of service to Wachovia Bank.  Daisy found great joy in cooking, a skill she used to bring people together and she loved going on trips.  Shopping was another of her pleasures; however, it was the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, that Daisy treasured most.
