Mrs. Daisy Irene Anderson Parker, 88, formerly of Florence, SC, died Friday, October 26, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Keith Parker. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by three sons, Ronald Martin of Summerville, SC; Richard Parker of Laurinburg, Kenneth Lynn Parker of Florence, SC; three daughters, Gloria Coldren and Barbara Holladay of Florence and Katherine McCormick of Laurinburg; a brother, Marion Anderson of Latta; a sister, Dewilla A. Oakley of Florence; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Born August 5, 1919 in Ridgeway, SC, she was a daughter of the late Edgar N. and Daisy Ruth Kelly Anderson and widow of the late Richard M. Parker. She was a homemaker and a volunteer receptionist for Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Memorials may be made to the Church of the Nazarene, 11121 Turnpike Rd., Laurinburg, NC 28352.
The family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
