D. Scott McKenzie, 30, formerly of Laurinburg passed away July 14, 2015.
A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his parents, David and Sheila Taylor McKenzie of Laurinburg; his brothers, Drew McKenzie of Rockingham and Jimmy Altman of Texas; his sisters, Jessica McKenzie of Laurel Hill and Donna Joye of Bennettsville; his maternal grandmother, Eunice Taylor of Blenheim.
He was born October 22, 1984 in Laurinburg and was employed with Dillon Furniture. Scott was always kind hearted and family oriented in his actions. In his leisure time he enjoyed cooking, fishing, and watching the UNC Tar Heels on television.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
