Cynthia (Lanier) Livengood

Cynthia Lanier Livengood, 63, of Navassa, NC, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Services will be private.

Born on April 26, 1961, in Davie County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Burl and Faye Dean Lanier.

Cynthia was the Co-owner and Office Manager of Livengood Construction.  She loved to go to the beach, shopping, listening to the radio and spending time with family and friends. Cynthia is survived by her son, Jacob Alexander Livengood of Navassa; daughter, Megan Lanier Livengood of Wilmington; brother, Barry Lanier of Davie County, NC; aunt, Betty Jo Fine, of Lexington; sister-in-law, Dottie Lanier, of Davie County, NC; niece, Jenna Hamrick, of West Virginia; and nephew, Justin Lanier, of Davie County, NC. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Alexander Livengood; and brothers, Burl “Junebug” Lanier, Jr. and Michael Lanier.
