Cordelia Bethea Hulon

Mrs. Cordelia Bethea Hulon, 84 of Kidd Lane, died Saturday at Rehabilitation and Health Center of Gastonia.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church in the Pines with Rev. Alexander "Sandy" Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

Born August 7, 1915 in Dillon, SC, she was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Leo Hulon and a son Edward Hulon. Mrs. Hulon was a member of the Church in the Pines and worked in the cafeteria in the Laurel Hill School.

Her daughters; Juanita Hearne of Mount Holly and Peggy Hulon-Strickland of Laurinburg, and a son Charles Lee Hulon of Mt. Holly; and a special friend, Edna Johnson of Laurinburg survive her. Seven grandchildren; Pete Hulon of Ellerbee, Jeff and Willie Hulon both of Laurinburg, Chuckie and Chad Hulon, Wendy Hardin and Lynn Knight all of Mt. Holly also survive her, as do thirteen great grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends from 7 to 9 PM Monday at McDougald Funeral Home in Laurel Hill.
