Mrs. Connie Sheppard Horne, 88, of 905 Aberdeen Road died Wednesday, November 12, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Marshville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Pierce and husband, James "Coot" of Laurinburg; three grandchildren, Ronald Pierce and wife, Deborah of Laurinburg, Tim Pierce and wife, Annette of Laurel Hill, and Jill Helms and husband, Charles of Garner; five great grandchildren, Rebecca Pierce, Ryan Pierce, Nolan Pierce, Bethany Helms and Zachery Helms; a nephew, Larry Horne of Washington, DC.
Born March 6, 1915 in Anson County, she was a daughter of the late Zebulon and Hallie Davis Sheppard and widow of the late J. Efird Horne. She was retired from J. P. Stevens.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
