Colene Leona Russell, 56, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
She was born January 3, 1958 in Scotland County and was a daughter of the late Coleman and Wealthie Dial Russell. She was a retired teacher.
She is survived by her daughters, Chasity Chavis (Adam) of Maxton, Aimee Cook (Walter) and Christy Blue of Laurinburg; her sisters, Shelby Dial, Joann Thrower, Yvonne Dial, and Ruth Russell of Laurinburg, and Gwen Dees of Mims, FL; her grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, and Tristan Chavis, Walter Cook, III and James Cook, Chelsie Mintz, Robert Oxendine, and Darian Reeves. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Dial.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. Wednesday until the funeral at the funeral home.
