Mr. Clayton Priest, 60, of 1412-A McBride Avenue died Sunday, October 22, at his residence.
A funeral service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Sneads Grove United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Gordon Caughill. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his daughters, Pam of Florida, Tricia and Balinda of California; five brothers, William Priest and wife, Alice, of Laurel Hill, James Priest and wife, Nellie, of Vero Beach, FL, John Priest of Goose Creek, SC, Henry Priest and wife, Peggy, of Maxton, Melvin Priest and wife, Anne, of Laurinburg; one sister, Catherine Priest Evans of Laurinburg; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Carol Britt of Benson, NC; a special friend, Carol Lewis of Laurinburg.
Born February 11, 1946 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late John and Orelia Ransome Priest. He was a loyal fan of NASCAR, especially #24, Jeff Gordon. He was employed by Woodard Crown Leisure and served in the National Guard.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 24, 7-9 p.m. at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
