Clayton Franklin Pittman

Clayton Franklin Pittman, age 70, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2023, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral arrangements will be announced.

Born on February 19, 1953, he was the son of the late Clayton and Mildred Louise Craft Pittman.  A lifelong resident of Scotland County, Clayton spent his career in the textile industry. He loved cruising and the beach.  Fishing was another favorite pastime along with attending concerts.  Clayton also had a green thumb, taking great satisfaction in working in his yard.

Clayton is survived by his sister, Wannet Pittman Skirvin (Edward) of Indianapolis, IN; his grandsons, Jeremy Clark and Dalton Clay Pittman; granddaughter, Summer Breiana Pittman; nephews, Jarrad Caulder and Donnie Caulder; and one great grandchild. He also leaves behind his loyal canine companion, Ralph, who was not only his dog, but his best friend. Clayton was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Pittman.
