Claude Jackson ''Jack'' Dunston, Jr

August 25, 1920 — December 6, 2001

Claude Jackson 'Jack' Dunston, Jr., 81, formerly of Wagram died Thursday, December 6, at Laurel of Forest Glen in Garner.


Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 29, at St. David's Episcopal Church. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Wagram.


He is survived by his wife, Grace Pearson Dunston; two sons, Jack Dunston, III and wife, Graciela, of Cary and Cliff Dunston and wife, Judy, of Utah; nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.


Born August 25, 1920 in Greenwood, SC he was a son of the late Claude J. and Ruby Fouche Dunston. Jack was a radio technician on a C-47 during World War II, and was retired as a representative of Life of Virginia.


An active member of St. David's Episcopal Church, he served on the Parish Council, Sunday school teacher, cathechist, member of the vestry, and a lay reader.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
