Christy Elizabeth White, 52, of Star passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 10, 2026 in Moore County.

Services are being planned and will be announced.

Born February 14, 1974, in Lee County, AL, she is the daughter of Janice Harris of Alabama.

Christy was a kind soul and had a huge heart. She loved her boys and her family fiercely. Christy was very loyal to her friends, in which she had many. She loved her best friend, Missie Lewis, whom she had known since middle school. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Dakoda McRae (Whitney), Christopher Freeman, and Christian White; grandson, Trace McRae; long-time boyfriend, Mitchell Britt; sister, Vicky Moore (Brian); brother, Haven Knight; and her two canine companions, Diesel and Sissy.
