Christina Marie (Brown) Johnson

Christina Marie Johnson, 40, of Randleman passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Troy, officiated by Rev. Nick Allen and Dr. Phil McRae.

Born February 19, 1984, in Multnomah County, Oregon, she is a daughter of Sandy Lewis McGovern and the late Roger Ado Brown. Christina was employed with the Randolph County Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer. She enjoyed metal detecting and enjoyed vacationing at the beach and mountains. Christina especially loved her animals.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Edison Eugene Johnson of the home; mother, Sandy Lewis McGovern and her husband, Michael of Troy; step-son, Bailey Eugene Johnson of Asheboro; sister, Julie Hurley (Jonathan) of Troy and their children, Faith, Georgia, and Natalie; and sister, Misty Robinson (Eddie) of Troy and their children, Madison and Edgar.
