Charolette Ann (Smith) Sampson

Charolette Ann Smith Sampson, age 78, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Firsthealth Hospice House.

There will be no services at the family’s request.

Born November 10, 1944 in Sullivan County, TN, she is the daughter of the late Ernest Boyd  and Bessie Lee Smallwood Smith. She was her husband’s whole life and world.  She resided at her current residence 105 Sampson Dr. Mt. Gilead, NC for 34 years.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jerry Sampson of the home; two sons, Jerry Sampson, Jr. of the home and Robert Sampson (Christie) of Charleston, SC; and daughter, Barbara Sampson of Farmer, NC. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Sam Sampson.
