Charlotte Warren (Brooks) Gibson

Charlotte Warren Brooks Gibson, 47, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at her home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held by the family at a later date.

Born November 23, 1972 in Scotland County, she was the daughter of Lacy Lee Brooks, Jr. and Peggy Ann Clark Brooks of Marston. Forever an advocate for children, she worked many years with the Scotland County Department of Social Services as a Social Worker. Some of her greatest past-times were riding motorcycles and collecting unusual socks. She also loved cats, tattoos, and flamingos.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Abigail Gibson of the home; fiancée, Jeff Jarrett of the home; her brother, Allistair Brooks of Laurinburg; nieces, Summer Scott of Laurinburg, and Hannah Elizabeth Powell of Bennettsville, S.C.; and a ton of friends who were more like family.
