Mr. Charles F. "Charlie" Lee, 90, formerly of Laurinburg died Sunday, August 5, 2012.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his daughters, Peggy Long of Roswell, GA; Vickie Long of Marietta, GA, Beverly Carter and Charlene Baggette of Kennesaw, GA; his brother, Barlowe Lee of Matthews; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Charlie was born October 13, 1921 in Laurinburg and served in the US Army Air Force in World War II, serving in North Africa, Sicily, and Italy. He also served with the US Postal Service in Laurinburg for twenty years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested for Boys and Girls Home of NC, PO Box 127, Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450.
Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
