Charles "Buddy" Allen Parker

Charles “Buddy” Allen Parker, 61, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 in Richmond County.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Hillside Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.  Due to Covid-19, all attendees are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing when possible.

Born November 6, 1960 in Scotland County, he is the son of Joyce Nassif Parker and the late Charles M. Parker. Buddy was a supervisor at LOF and retired after 34 years of service.  He loved driving classic cars, especially his 2010 Mustang, riding his motorcycle and his horse Money.  Buddy would always light up a room whenever he walked in and brightened everyone’s day.  He was a free-spirited person and was always there to help family and friends out.  He was a devoted son and a loving father and brother.

He is survived by his son, Cody Allen Parker and wife, Amanda of Little River, SC; his brother, Michael Lynn Parker and wife, Debbie; his sister, Jennifer Parker Taylor and husband, Ricky all of Laurinburg; a supportive uncle to two nephews, Richard Taylor and Christopher Parker; and special friends, Lisa Polston, and Randy, Debbie and Mark Williams.
