Mrs. Charlene Elizabeth Lacer Williams, 80, of Lauder Street., died Friday, April 23, at Morrison Manor.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Hillside Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Woody Byrd. Burial will follow in Wright Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Williams of Laurel Hill and James D. Williams of Gibson; two daughters, Marcia Maynor and Deborah Locklear of Laurel Hill; ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Williams.
Born July 16, 1929 in Boonville, IN, she was a daughter of the late, Charles G. and Elizabeth Marshall Lacer. Charlene was a member of Hillside Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, going to church and singing.
Visitation will be Monday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
