Charity L. Ward, 71, died January 17 at UNC Hospitals.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by three sons, Auty C. Ward, Jr. and Jerry ward of Laurel Hill, and Robert Ward of Lumberton; her mother, Charity Emmalee Ammons of Calabash; two brothers, Howard Snipes of Laurinburg and Bobby Snipes of Calabash; a sister, Linda Carver of Raleigh; four grandchildren.
Born January 30, 1938, she was also a daughter of the late Howard Forest Snipes. She was a retired employee of Waverly Mills.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium
