Mr. Cecil C. "Chuck" Wade, Jr., 74, of 4300 Red Springs Road, Red Springs, NC died Tuesday Feb. 26, 2002 at his home.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Hillside Memorial Park with the Rev. Bill Watt officiating.
He is survived by his step-son James Johnson of Havelock, NC; a step-daughter Mary Lee Wannamaker of Cincinnati, OH; two sisters, Affra Lenwell of Pierston, IN and Beverly Talbert of Villa Grove, IL; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Born Feb. 7, 1927 in Bloomington, IN he was a son of the late Cecil C. and Leona Gray Wade. He was retired from the US Postal Service, a veteran of the US Navy and the US Marine Corps and was an active member in the Laurinburg Christian Church where he served as a Deacon.
