Cecil Joe O'Tuel, 66, of Scotland County Line Road died Tuesday, December 15, at his home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Tabernacle United Methodist Church officiated by Pastors John Paul Prine and Donald Dawkins. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, Gibson.
He is survived by a son, Patrick O'Tuel of Hamlet; three daughters, Amanda O'Tuel of Norfolk, VA, Mamie Smith of Wilmington, Heather O'Tuel of Hamlet; a brother, John O'Tuel of Dallas; four grandchildren, Hunter O'Tuel, Garrett Smith, Garrett Smith, and Matthew Zimmerman.
Born November 16, 1943 in Marlboro County, he was a son to the late John B. O'Tuel and Lorraine Pearson O'Tuel Stubbs. He was formerly employed with Pate's Funeral Home in Laurel Hill and Gibson and retired as a conductor for CSX Railroad in Hamlet.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium in Laurinburg.
